My Bio
Having a comfortable life in the middle of nowhere I make my living playing with fire and the pictures there of. It's not always a fun job but I get to see and do things that most people don't and I wouldn't trade it for anything. And every once in a while I get to step back and take a snap shot of my world to show to you. Some of it beautiful and some of it tragic, I hope you can find something that will speak to you as much as it all does to me.

While my photography may immortalize a moment not all of us are always so lucky. In an effort to help the families of the fallen, half of the profits from my gallery are donated to the firefighter foundation. If you would like to donate directly, the foundation can be found at the following sights:

Wild-land firefighter foundation wffoundation.org/index.asp
National Firefighter foundation www.firehero.org/

Or on the rare chance you want to donate to me or have me donate to a specific organization on your behalf you can do that here www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?… As for my other art, I try to keep it coming but I'm rather strapped for time so my traditional works are sadly few and far between. With my renewing this account I hope to get a little more active in it and keep it updated for you.

Favourite style of art: Traditional

Favourite Movies
Ladder 49 (so sue me I'm a sap) and Top Gun
Favourite Gaming Platform
Xbox One

Bunker gear and Irons
Wow, I can't believe that my recent posts have gotten so much attention! Thanks for all the faves everyone.

Is any one else having trouble uploading images? For some reason I can't seem to upload any images that are 6MB or larger. I managed to submit one after cutting the quality but I think I'll hold off on uploading more until this can be resolved. Not that I upload an incredible amount anyhow but it'd be nice to upload the few photographs that I do like. On other news the snow has finally started flying and the mountain is already starting to get a good layer of snow down. Here's to hoping it's a good ski season. If nothing else the mountains are looking beautiful.

p.s.  I'm trying to figure out where your from by some of your scenes in your photos - many of the areas remind me of Montana. Am I close?  I've worked with fire and rescue and other first responders before, mainly at aircraft accidents, since I'm an Aviation Safety Inspector with the FAA. I've been on plenty of accidents (both with fatalities and no fatalities) and my supervisor who taught me what I know as an aircraft accident investigator was a Captain at his fire department in Spokane here.  Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you and tell you that I have a huge respect for what you do Jay.
That's greatly appreciated and you're guess was close. I'm actually in Buffalo, Wyoming just about 40 min. south of the Montana border. Though some of my photos were from areas in Montana. I'm actually rather impressed that you were able to recognize that, there are very few that do.
Oh cool, I've been to Buffalo, WY (and all over WY).  Ironically, I'm originally the from Buffalo, NY area. But I lived enough years in Montana and have traveled all OVER that state for so many years, that I recognize the area. I've actually spent time in all 50 states by the way. =D
Well, at least you know now that I've worked along with the fire department (and Sheriffs and State Police departments) at aircraft accidents. Respect you all that's for sure. =)   My worse accident I worked (and was lead investigator on) involved a plane FROM Wyoming and flying to Couer d'Alene, Idaho.  Father and son.  It wasn't pretty, trust me.  Well, take care and have a great week Jay.
Thanks for the Llama, man!
